Welcome to my on-line practice. As a Board Certified member of the American Board of Family Medicine I am committed to complete care for you and your family.

My Philosophy of Practice

In the practice we have a family centered practice with an emphasis on prevention of disease. However we treat and diagnose illness and disease in all age groups from newborn to geriatrics. We feel that medicine is best viewed as an aspect that affects both the individual and the individual's family.

Themes of My Practice

Prevention of disease is at the forefront of my practice. As a Family Practice Physician I can care for a variety of diseases including high blood pressure, diabetes, infections, cholesterol elevations, childhood diseases, and many other maladies.

With my previous career as a Respiratory Therapist I feel particularly comfortable with diseases of the lung (emphysema, asthma, pneumonia, etc...) but I feel that my true specialty and calling is prevention of disease.

The Patient-Doctor Relationship

The doctor-patient relationship is a bond between an individual and their physician. It is a two way street. The physician has a responsibility to the patient to deliver the best healthcare possible, the most complete information, and the best and most effective medications in a cost-effective manner. The patient's responsibility is to discuss with the physician any concerns or problems, heed the information delivered, and work with the physician for the best possible outcome. It is through this type of relationship that the patient receives the best possible healthcare.
